Our Products and Services.

The PM Group specializes in the outsourcing of all performance measurement related business processes and related requirements of investment and asset managers. PM Group is an external and independent provider of monthly (bimonthly/weekly or shorter terms by arrangement) performance attribution/measurement services.

The following suite of performance analysis tools is available from the PM Group:

The composite manager is a multiple standard compliant tool which allows for all aspects of portfolio carve-outs and composites.

The performance attribution analyzer suite is based on detailed comprehensive performance measurement concepts and delivers finely structured analyses. With our multi-tiered reporting approach this can be tailored into reports to address any audience concerned with the interpretation of performance attribution. Presentations in an increasing level of complexity starting from a simple total return/benchmark comparison suitable for the general audience, down to a detailed breakdown of single security attribution factors designed for investment professionals.

The MPI analysis tool (Management Process Implementation) allows for the analysis of investment scenarios where more than one level of decision-making needs to be analyzed. It serves, for example, to identify the dominant performance attribution factors along the decision-making/value chain of a traditional investment process or it can be used for the analysis of umbrella funds, model portfolios or quantitative models.

Our clients deliver their base data on a monthly (or otherwise agreed) schedule and PM Group processes this input in its versatile attribution analysis suite translating it into tailor-made answers. All data exchanges use up-to-date and secure web-based processes (see also the client login area on this website).

For a more detailed look into the data exchange process and requirements, please see the data flow diagram.
